Scripted Series: Ramadan 2026 Snapshot

A snapshot from the CPS Ramadan Drama Report, which tracks every Arabic scripted series that premiered during Ramadan from 2017 to 2026, 1,788 titles in all, drawn from CPS's own records and cross-checked against regional press and industry databases and production companies themselves. For each title it records the country of production, dialect, genre, production companies, and every TV channel and streaming platform that carried it. The analysis shows where Arab drama is made, how output is shifting between regions, and how distribution is moving from TV towards streaming services and YouTube. It gives CPS members a verified, data-led view of the Ramadan market to inform co-production, acquisition and distribution decisions.
