Once Upon a Time in Gaza is our latest project at Rise Studios, and we’re proud to have joined as one of its producers. We're proud to see that the film will have its world premiere at the 78th Cannes Film Festival, as part of the Un Certain Regard official selection. 

 
Following Dégradé (Cannes Critics' Week) and Gaza Mon Amour (Venice Film Festival), the Nasser Brothers return to Festival de Cannes 2025 with a bold new story selected for the Un Certain Regard section. 
 
Starring Nader Abd Alhay, Ramzi Maqdisi, and Majd Eid, the film is set in 2007 Gaza, where a young student and a falafel shop owner form an unlikely friendship - and soon find themselves navigating survival, corruption, and resistance, check Linkedin link
