Abu Dhabi based TwelveP Animation joins Singapore animation powerhouse Powerkids Entertainment to co-produce "Adventures of Akira & Mowgli". It is a highly anticipated spin-off of the "The Jungle Book" animated franchise, which has already captured the hearts of millions of children and families worldwide.

This collaboration marks a milestone as the first ever international co-production in animation coming out of Abu Dhabi and one of the pioneering cases of such for the UAE region.

In the show the beloved Mowgli character is joined by a bold and fearless female protagonist Akira as they embark on a new jungle adventure brimming with heart, humor, and stunning animation.

The scripts of the show are being crafted by industry-renowned writers Jeff Sager and Eric Steinhart, known for their work on popular shows like PJ Masks, Super Wings, Paw Patrol, Dino Ranch, and The Snoopy Show. The show is currently in fast-paced production, with tentative deliveries starting mid-2025.

Other co-producers for the show are industry leaders BeIN (Qatar), De Planeta (Latin America), Telegael (Ireland) and Wall Peep (India). With these global creative powerhouses on board, "Adventures of Akira & Mowgli" is set to captivate audiences worldwide.

Even before its release, the show is making waves and earning accolades. Powerkids CEO Mr. Manoj Mishra received the Best Producer in ANN Award 24, and the series has been nominated for Best International Showcase at the prestigious Cartoon on the Bay Pulcinella Awards.
