President of the Saudi Media Forum Launches Key Initiatives at CoProduction Salon Booth in Cannes

His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, President of the Saudi Media Forum, visited the Co-Production Salon booth at MIPCOM Cannes to show his support for the growing alliance of Arab and international producers.

During the visit, His Excellency announced that the next edition of the Saudi Media Forum will be held on February 2, 2026, in Riyadh, and unveiled a series of new investment initiatives designed to expand media-industry opportunities in the Kingdom.

He also emphasized the activation of the “Media Bridges” initiative, aimed at fostering direct meetings between top producers, distributors, and content creators to strengthen collaboration between Arab and global media players. His Excellency congratulated the participants on their efforts to advance Arab–international co-production and personally invited them to take part in the upcoming Saudi Media Forum.

This visit underscores the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to empowering the regional media industry and enabling Arab talent and institutions to reach wider global audiences.

For her part, Heba Korayem, Founder of the Co-Production Salon, expressed her gratitude for the visit, affirming that Saudi Arabia has become a pivotal hub for Arab and international media, paving the way for a new era of co-production and investment in Arabic content.
