Thmanyah Publishing and Distribution, a subsidiary of the Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG), is set to launch a groundbreaking football broadcasting platform on August 8, 2025, just weeks before the start of the 2025–2026 football season.
The new platform will provide exclusive access to major Saudi football competitions, including the Roshn Saudi League, King’s Cup, Saudi Super Cup, and the Yelo League. It will be available on all major app stores and compatible with most popular operating systems. Subscription packages and pricing details will be announced soon.
Thmanyah will offer a free viewing option with lower quality and limited features compared to the paid subscription. Streaming quality is expected to reach at least Full HD or 4K at 50 frames per second, delivering a premium experience to subscribers.
The 2025–2026 Saudi Pro League season will begin on August 28, 2025, preceded by the Saudi Super Cup from August 19 to 23.
The platform will introduce features including adjustable commentary and crowd audio, advanced match statistics, multi-match viewing, and high-quality streaming. Full details will be revealed at the official launch on August 8, 2025.
Users will have access to full match replays, highlights, and exclusive Thmanyah content. Accounts can be used on an unlimited number of devices, although live match streaming will be limited to one device at a time.
In addition to digital streaming, matches will also be broadcast via Thmanyah’s satellite TV channel, scheduled to go live before the season. Details regarding the satellite provider, including whether it will be on Nilesat or Arabsat, will be announced closer to the launch date.
